Winter Wheat Varieties 2022: Watch the tour of our trials site
Back on June 13, 2022, it was fantastic to be able to host our in-person Winter Wheat Variety Trials Open Evening again for the first time since 2019.
We hope those who attended gained a lot from the Open Evening but, if you were unable to make it or would like to hear the latest updates from the site, on June 28 we recorded our Winter Wheat Variety Trials video for the third year in a row.
In the 75-minute video, which can be watched below, Seed Director Paul Huntley, Assistant Seed Manager Laura Beaty and Agrochemical & Technical Director David Cairns chat through all 25 varieties and two seed treatments.
These include new buzz varieties, including Champion, KWS Dawsum, KWS Brium, RGT Bairstow and RGT Stokes, where the trio highlight their strengths and weaknesses, which will hopefully help to inform your varietal choices for the upcoming season.
