Alasdair Ralston has been trading in the agriculture sector within south of Scotland and Northumberland since 1998. After finishing school, he started working for a local livestock auctioneers/valuers precuring prime and breeding livestock for their auctions or farm to farm transactions. Shortly before leaving he went onto qualify to be a member of the institute of actioners and valuers in Scotland.
Alasdair joined McCreath Simpson & Prentice in 2007 and looks after our animal feeds including crop and livestock production whilst buying back customer’s grain and pulses.
Since working for McCreath Simpson & Prentice, Alasdair has gained his FACTS qualification and will be starting a diploma in ruminant nutritition with BASIS in 2018.
Since 2010 Alasdair has been the animal feed department manager supplying a comprehensive range of ruminant and game feeds.
