David has more than 25 years’ experience in the fertiliser industry.
For 18 years, he worked for Yara in various UK and international roles, gaining a wealth of experience in both agronomic and commercial roles before taking on the challenging and rewarding role of Fertiliser Director for McCreath Simpson & Prentice.
David is responsible for the commercial direction and position of the fertiliser department within MSP, as well as the purchasing of quality raw materials. With the help of an experienced fertiliser administration and production team, his priority is to manufacture and supply the best quality fertiliser products to farmers and top it off with excellent customer service.
David's variety of roles across all the main agricultural and horticultural crops has allowed him to gain a broad spectrum of nutritional and agronomic knowledge, which is backed up by his professional FACTS and BASIS qualifications. David is also Chairman of Berwick Harbour Commission, helping to oversee operations and development at the Port of Berwick.
