Watch our Winter Wheat Varieties Tour 2021!
Just like in 2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions we were unable to host our large-scale Wheat Variety Trials Open Day at Mountfair Farming.
However, once again, we have brought the Open Day to you virtually as, last week, Seed Director Paul Huntley and Agrochemical & Technical Director David Cairns took a tour through all 24 varieties and two seed treatments.
In the 65-minute video, which can be watched below, Paul and David chat through all of the varieties – including new varieties LG Prince, LG Illuminate, LG Astronomer, Merit, Swallow, KWS Cranium and RGT Wolverine – highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, which will hopefully help to inform your varietal choices.
