MSP team to take on the GAFT Bike Ride

David Cairns, Alison Inglis, Steve Rowley, Don Smith, Ben Gothorp and Robert Ord are ready to take on the Grain and Feed Trade (GAFT) Charity Cycle Relay on the 11th July.

Cycling from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Edinburgh, to raise money and awareness for The Farming Community Network and RSABI. Both provide emotional, practical and financial support to individuals in the agriculture industry across the UK.

Taking place between 19th June and 31st July, over 70 feed and grain businesses will travel 3700 miles around the country in support of this challenge, with the MSP team taking on a 60 mile trip.

A keen cyclist himself, our Agrochemical/Grass Seed Director, David Cairns said: “When we heard about the charity cycle GAFT were planning we just knew we wanted to be a part of it. As big supporters of RSABI and the work it does for the agriculture industry we are proud to be able to raise money for the important cause.

“With some keen cyclists in the team, it will be an exciting challenge for us all!”
