About Don
Don has more than 25 years of experience in the seed trade and grain merchanting industry.
A graduate of Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) and Edinburgh Napier University, Don has a BSc (Hons) in Rural Resource Management and started his career in the industry in 1998 with Scotgrain Agriculture as Seed Manager.
In 2021, Don moved to Agrii as Commercial Seed Manager for Scotland before joining McCreath Simpson & Prentice as Seed Specialist in May 2023, where he is delighted to be part of a fantastic team of people.
Don recognises the importance of supply chain relationships and is passionate about building strong, long-term industry partnerships. He is based at our Stracathro grain storage site in Angus, providing technical support and sector development input.
